D18 DESIGN:After a long time we have brought you the one we believe to offer the most power and brightness, we would never risk our reputation and only sell to our customers something that we truly believe in.In testing the brand-new D18 Canbus LED system exceeded our expectations offering the best colour of light, accurate beam pattern and proved to be a heavy weight in the Canbus category.
SAFETY:You won't be putting yourself at risk while driving at night with the D18 Bulbs. Prior to this, we could only ever comfortably recommend LED bulbs for use as interior lighting, high beams, fog lights, etc. Here, we test a lot of automotive lighting products. (really, a lot) Until now, there were literally no options that would translate their luminosity out onto the road into a useful-enough beam pattern (and measured lux at a distance) to really call adequate for on-road use. This is a really innovation product.
PRETTY COOL:Heat management is crucial for lumen maintenance and reliability. The D18 bulb's internally opposed copper boards extract asmuch heat as possible from the area surrounding the LED chips and transfers it to the radiator at the back of the bulb. The one-piece radiator housing is CNC machined from 6061 aluminum, and conceals a magnetic levitating fan inside. This is the most compact way to house an effective yet compact cooling system.
SIZE MATTERS:Due to the extra depth of most LED bulbs, they won't fit inside headlights with solid plastic rear housing caps. The D18 is undoubtedly one of the most compact (yet still actively cooled) LED Bulbs on the market. We paid much attention to this throughout development, and it's not such an easy task given the need to balance size, power input to the LED chips, and thermal management to keep them running within safe range.
LEDs Array Mimic the Filament of Typical Halogen BulbWe actually used advanced optical software to prototype the small chips that mimic filaments, we putthe LEDs exactly where the output of halogen bulb is.
It is made to function not only in a projector style housing but also in a reflector style housing with aperfect hotspot and beam pattern with more usable light and no glare for oncoming drivers compared tostock halogen and competitor LEDs.
Slim PCB for Best Light Beam PatternOur led headlight bulb has a 2.5mm Super slim PCB board between the middle of the LEDs on both sides, almost equivalent to the filament width of a factoryhalogen bulb, which is 2mm. This thin structure is what gets you the beam pattern (Point to Learn)
Cooling Performance UpgradedThe D18C base features feather weight and cover less heat extraction design, which allows the unit to maintain the correct temperature. Thermal management is the key to a high-performing, long-lasting LED unit.

Focus spotMost LEDs are big and have no focus spot in the beam pattern. The D18 led headlight bulb is a little different. It provides optically correct output and shines more light in the focus spot when installed in a reflector as well as projector, 200% brighter than a halogen bulb. The Philips type LED Light source emits in a true white 6000 K color temperature, for a modern and OEM-style LED appearance.
Tested And VerifiedThe D18 led headlight bulb was designed with turbo ball bearing fans, which can reach 12000 RPM counterclockwise and effectively prevent thermal imbalance in the LEDs or circuit board; protect the light source for long life. And the small bulb size can be installed behind most dust caps.
